Have a Heart for The Arc Day
We are calling on you to join us on February 14 to spread the word about disability rights

What is Have a Heart for The Arc Day?

Have a Heart for The Arc is an opportunity to highlight the issues facing Texans with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) and their families. During the interim you can have an impact! This event will provide an opportunity to learn about the key issues that may impact Texans with disabilities, and how your advocacy and vote are essential to our mission.

•Chapters of The Arc of Texas, families and individuals with IDD will deliver valentines to state legislators and legislative candidates with the message,“Have a Heart for The Arc” on Valentine’s Day!
•Our main goal is to build relationships with
decision-makers and let them know people with disabilities are an important part of their constituency!

Have a Heart for The Arc Feedback

Thank you for making our first annual Heart for The Arc Day such a success! The conversations and introductions made with legislators and legislative candidates were so fruitful, and we look forward to seeing how these advocacy efforts and relationships continue to grow as we approach next session.

We would appreciate you taking a few moments to fill out this short survey. The questionnaire should take no longer than 3 minutes and will help us immensely as we plan upcoming advocacy events.
