Meet The Arc Day
Join us at the Texas Capitol
We invite local chapters to join us at the Capitol in Austin on Jan. 31, 2025, for our kickoff advocacy day for the 89th Texas Legislative Session. Get to know other chapters and visit with legislators about your priorities. Chapters must reserve a table. Space is limited to 10 participants per chapter.
Participate at the Texas Capitol, In Your District, or From Your Computer/Phone
This annual statewide advocacy event takes place on Valentineโs Day, Feb. 14, 2025, and is a fun way to show your disability rights pride and highlight the issues facing Texans with IDD and their families. Using our talking points and printable policy priorities, tell your state legislators and/or candidates running in your district to โHave a Heart for The Arcโ to protect the human rights of their constituents with IDD! This yearโs focus is on strengthening the direct care workforce.
