Ana joined The Arc of Texas on October 2014. She brings a wealth of experience to her role as the Chief Executive Officer having worked more than 27 years in the non-profit sector. She has more than 30 years of professional experience in all aspects of accounting functions and executive level management including fiscal management of federal, state and local funding; creation of operating reserve funds; establishing accounting systems and software conversion; and extensive audit experience.
Prior to The Arc of Texas, Ana held executive level positions with various nonprofit local organizations including Any Baby Can, Texas Health Institute, Easter Seals-Central Texas, Caritas of Austin, Skillpoint Alliance, Youth Advocacy, and Texans War on Drugs. Most recently, she served as the Chief Financial Officer for the Texas Tribune. Ana is also an active volunteer in her community. She served as Board Treasurer of Camp Fire Balcones Council and Forklift DanceWorks. Ana is married to Sergio Martinez and has two daughters, Sami and Sarah.
