Household Recycling is a great opportunity for everyone to help support the programs and services of The Arc of Texas by simply donating gently used items that are no longer wanted or needed! Your donation is fully tax deductible!

The Arc of Texas went into partnership with Thrift Town in 1975 to create our Household Recycling Program. The Arc of Texas raises money by selling these recycled items to Thrift Town, a for-profit thrift store. Our partnership with Thrift Town has generated millions of dollars for the programs and services of The Arc of Texas and our local affiliated chapters.  Currently, this program is responsible for bringing in approximately a third of our operating budget.

All donations are collected by ReUseIt, LLC. ReUseIt, LLC is paid a fee from The Arc of Texas to perform the pick-up service on their behalf.
