It allows people to use the speed and convenience of the web to contact friends and family members via email and ask them to “
Spread the Word” about The Arc and help raise funds for an organization that does important work to help people with disabilities.
This new fundraising plan, developed to raise awareness and funds for all The Arc state chapters, uses the most effective fundraising approach ever known --- people asking others to support a cause that provides vital services to their families and communities. Many people are looking for ways to make a tax-deductible contribution to a worthwhile organization. You can help us find those people.
It’s easy—from the website listed below, follow the instructions to set up your own website and write a paragraph or two about someone you know who has benefited from or could benefit from The Arc of Texas programs and services. Or, tell a story about your own personal experience with The Arc. Attach a picture if you can. Then send emails with your personal website link in the email and ask friends and family for donations for The Arc. We would be happy to establish the website for you and even provide sample emails that you can use. Then, all you have to do is send the emails.
