Household Recycling Program

The Arc of Texas
Household Recycling Program

Our Household Recycling Program offers you a way to support The Arc of Texas by simply donating your gently used household items you no longer want or need!

Since 1972 our unique partnership with Thrift Town has generated millions of dollars for the programs and services of The Arc of Texas and our local affiliated chapters.

Thrift Town Thrift Town purchases all items contributed to The Arc of Texas Household Recycling program for merchandise for their six Texas stores. Although The Arc receives funding from a variety of sources - including private donations, fundraising events, grants and special government programs - the majority of its operating budget comes from donations to our household recycling programs in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth, and San Antonio.
