Outstanding Educational Inclusion Program:
Lynn Grell-Boethel

The Arc of Texas would like to recognize Ms. Lynn Grell-Boethel for her outstanding educational inclusion program. Ms. Grell-Boethel is the director of Special Education at Columbia- Brazoria I.S.D. in the southern end of Brazoria County. Ms. Grell-Broathel is committed to ensuring that the teachers under her supervision maintain the highest level of progressive thought concerning individuals with disabilities by encouraging them to attend and participate in seminars and workshops emphasizing inclusion. In addition CBISD has made it a priority to pair with The Arc of the Gulf Coast in efforts to create and implement their “School to Work” project which aides in pursuing their goal of employment for their students prior to graduation. Ms. Grell- Boethel and CBISD have set a standard with their work program which we can only hope will spread through out the educational system.
