Mr. Arnold Lopez

In our efforts to promote and fulfill our mission here at the Arc of Texas we stress the importance of inclusion in the workplace. With that said we are honored to recognize Mr. Arnold Lopez as Local Employer of the Year. Mr. Lopez manages Kroger Signature Store #312 and has been in the Grocery business for over 26 years. As a staple of his respect for individuals with disabilities, Mr. Lopez is a firm believer in occupational inclusion and encourages the hiring and training of individuals with disabilities. To date, at his store, there are 8 individuals with disabilities currently employed; each reaching a tenure surpassing one year. These individuals have been given on site training, support and encouragement to meet the level of responsibility in which they have been hired. The Arc of Texas applauds Mr. Lopez for his vision.
