STAFF ACCOUNTANT
Full-Time Staff Accountant for a non-profit organization. The candidate will be primarily responsible for the day to day accounting of the organization pertaining to accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash receipts, reporting benefit enrollments/terminations, and payroll. Additional responsibilities include general ledger postings and account reconciliations. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications, able to handle multiple priorities, and be detailed oriented. SAGE/MIP experience preferred. Minimum 4 years fund accounting experience required. HOUSTON: COMMUNITY ADVOCATE, PART-TIME
For non-profit organization. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: coalition building, organizing monthly meetings & events, and initial trainings, recruiting & mobilizing local volunteers to educate policy makers and impact public policy issues. Applicant must be a self-starter must be proficient in MS Office and have the ability to work with volunteers and staff. Legislative and/or systems advocacy experience a plus. $12.50/hour for 15 hours per week. Minimal in-state travel required. DRIVERS/HELPERS
Drivers/Helpers are routinely needed for The Arc of Texas Household Recycling Program. Must be able to drive a 16’ box truck, lift 50 lbs. frequently and up to 100 lbs. with help. Must have valid TXDL and pass criminal background check, physical and drug screen. FT position M-F, $10.25 to start with great benefits package!
